Tim Redding
Former MLB Pitcher: Houston astros, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, and NEw york Mets
Tim Redding is a former professional baseball right-handed pitcher, selected by the Houston Astros in 20th round of the 1997 MLB Draft. Tim made his Major League debut on June 24, 2001 and went on to play a total of 16 seasons of professional baseball, including parts of 8 years at the Major League level with stints with the Astros, Padres, Yankees, Nationals and Mets organizations. He also played abroad in South Korea, Mexico and Venezuela.
Following his professional playing career, Tim went on to coach five years in the Washington Nationals organization. Tim served as a National Scouting Coordinator for Perfect Game USA, the world’s largest baseball scouting service and premier provider of amateur baseball events in 2021-2023.
He also is dedicated to giving back to the next generation with his extensive work as an ambassador of the Perfect Game Cares Foundation which puts on camps and clinics for free to poverish and underserved communities throughout the country.
